Marked on the side 0. 5 indicating that the capacity is for half a liter, about three quarters of a pint. The base has maker's mark of R in a circle and the pewter lid displays SS symbol to thumb catch and the lid cover is also engraved Meine Ehre Heit Treue ("My honour is loyalty") over SS symbol to center over Sieg Heil
