Original U.S. Single Shot Rifled Percussion Pistol Converted From Flintlock with Trade Lock - circa 1810 - 1820 Category_Night Sights " In December 1942Original Items. Only One Available. This is a very nice early U. S. flintlock pistol, made circa 1810 1820, which was later converted to percussion. It was made using a "Trade" lock, possibly British, which still has traces of the word WARRANTED on it. It was originally engraved, but it looks like it was refinished when converted to percussion, which removed some of the surface. The filled holes for the frizzen and spring can still easily be seen on
